These include Milk, Eggs, Fish, Crustacean shellfish, Tree nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, and Soybeans.

Additionally, for your convenience, we clearly mark which snacks are suitable for vegetarians and indicate if alcohol is used as an ingredient in any product. We appreciate your inquiry, but we currently do not provide a Vegetarian Snack option at Sweet Korea.

Following the Merriam-Webster’s definition of vegetarian, our selection excludes meat and may include vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, and occasionally eggs or dairy products.

Rest assured, our Sweet Korea Snack Box measures 23*23*11cm. We guarantee that the quantity and value of products remain consistent month after month. Each month, we curate our assortment with the goal of including 20-22 items, ensuring you receive a fulfilling and delightful snacking experience with every box.

We’re sorry to hear about any issues you may have encountered! If your Sweet Korea item arrives damaged or defective in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Please be aware that with rising temperatures, there is a risk of chocolate products arriving slightly damaged. If temperatures in your location exceed 23°C (73°F), chocolates may be affected. Additionally, temperatures above 28°C (82°F) may cause melting during transit. While we take precautions to mitigate these risks, we cannot be held responsible for temperature-related damages incurred during shipping.

Subscriptions Plan

To update your default shipping address for your Sweet Korea subscription:

Log in to your Sweet Korea Account.

Navigate to the “Subscriptions” section and locate the subscription you wish to modify. Then, click on “Edit Plan Details”.

Select the “Shipping Address” tab to edit your shipping information.

Please note: If you need to change your shipping address after your subscription has been renewed but not yet shipped, kindly reach out to us at support@sweetkoreabox.co.kr via our Contact Us Page. We’ll gladly assist you in updating the shipping address for your upcoming Sweet Korea shipment.

It’s important to remember that updating your address in the Member Portal will affect future renewals but won’t automatically update any previously generated renewal orders.

Subscribers have the option to deactivate their Sweet Korea subscription at any time, following our cancellation policy (See “What is your cancellation policy?” for details).

Please note that deactivating your subscription only stops it from renewing in the future; it does not cancel any orders already placed.

To deactivate your subscription:

1. Log in to your Sweet Korea Account.

2. Navigate to the “Subscriptions” section.

3. Click on “Edit Plan Detail”.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Deactivate”.

5. Select a reason for deactivating your subscription. This step is mandatory. If you proceed without selecting a reason, your subscription will not be deactivated.

6. Click “Deactivate my subscription” on the following page.

Your subscription is now deactivated! You will receive a confirmation email shortly. Upon returning to your Subscriptions page, you should see your subscription listed under the “Deactivated” tab.

Note: If your subscription still appears under the “Activated” tab, it has not been successfully deactivated.

To ensure smooth processing, please note the following regarding subscription deactivations:

Deactivations must be completed at least 1 day before your subscription renewal date. For instance, if your renewal date falls on the 25th of each month, the 24th is the final day to cancel to avoid being billed for the next month’s shipment.

Please be aware that deactivating your subscription only prevents future renewals; it does not cancel any existing orders. If you complete the cancellation process after your subscription renews, that renewal will be your final box, and your subscription will not renew in the future.

To view the upcoming Sweet Korea Box as a current subscriber, please log into your Account Portal and navigate to the “Upcoming Box” section.

Shipping

For Sweet Korea Box Subscription orders:

Shipping costs are specified differently depending on the countries below.

Korea Post EMS:

Sweet Korea orders are usually shipped within 1-3 business days of your initial purchase. You’ll receive a shipment notification once your box has been sent out.

FOR SWEET KOREA BOX SUBSCRIPTION ORDERS:

Estimated Delivery Time:

Typically, your Sweet Korea Box arrives within 2-3 weeks after the shipping date. However, please allow up to 4 weeks considering potential local customs procedures or weather-related delays.

US Shipments:

Orders to the US are dispatched from Japan and directly sent to USPS, typically reaching you within 1-2 weeks after shipping. Initial tracking updates may not appear immediately as the order is en route to USPS.

Potential Delays:

Please be patient within the mentioned timeframes as delays may occur due to weather, postal disruptions, or customs clearance. Kindly wait before contacting us regarding a missing or lost box.

Lost or Damaged Box:

If you receive correspondence from the post office about a damaged or lost box, please send us a photo of the letter or message. This allows us to promptly arrange for a replacement to be sent.

Final Delivery via Local Postal Service:

Orders shipped via Korea Post are delivered by your local government-sponsored postal service (e.g., USPS in the U.S.).

Typically, Sweet Korea Box orders arrive within 2-3 weeks after being placed, though delivery times may vary based on the chosen shipping method or destination country.

Please note that we cannot guarantee specific arrival dates as our boxes are shipped directly from Korea, and international shipping can sometimes be unpredictable.

If your shipment has not arrived within 4 weeks from the shipping confirmation email, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@sweetkoreabox.co.kr via our Contact Us page, and we’ll do our utmost to assist you.

Due to the need for a unique shipping address for each subscription or gift order, we currently cannot accommodate ordering multiple boxes with different addresses in the same order. Please place a separate order for each box going to a different address.

You can still manage all your subscriptions within your Account Portal by logging in after placing your first order.

Before placing your order, we highly recommend verifying any customs regulations that could impact your shipment, potentially leading to delays or issues.

International shipments are subject to customs clearance, which may cause slight delays in delivery. Once your package clears customs, it will be forwarded to your local post office for delivery.

Please be aware that shipments to the EU and other regions may require additional information from customs, such as your Passport Number or Tax ID. International shipments undergo customs inspection upon arrival in the destination country. Customs determines when the package will be released, and unfortunately, we have no control over this process.

If your Sweet Korea tracking status shows “Retention,” it indicates that your package is either being held at customs for inspection or was delivered but no one was available to receive it.

You (or the recipient) should have received a slip from the postal carrier with instructions on how to retrieve the package. If no slip was received, there’s a possibility that the package is still undergoing customs inspection, and it may take a few days to clear customs.

We advise you to promptly contact your local post office to address the situation and ensure timely resolution. Please note that Sweet Korea cannot control the duration of customs detention or the timing of package release.

If your Sweet Korea tracking indicates “Item arrival at the collection point for pick-up,” it means your parcel is ready for pickup at your local post office branch. We strongly advise you to contact your local post office promptly to arrange for retrieval, as failure to do so may result in the package being returned to us.

Please reach out to your local post office for further details regarding the delivery process and to ensure timely collection of your package.

If your tracking shows “Item Arrival At Collection Point,” we urge you to visit your local post office immediately with your tracking number and valid photo ID.

If you’re unsure of the location of your local post office, please contact your country’s main post office hub helpline for assistance in locating where your item is being held.

Failure to retrieve your package within a specified timeframe may result in it being returned to Korea. Please take prompt action to ensure timely collection of your Korea package.

Account & Billing

Your initial payment will be processed upon completing checkout for your Sweet Korea subscription. Subsequent renewals will occur on the same date every 1, 3, 6, or 12 months from the original purchase date, depending on your chosen subscription payment plan.

To locate your next billing date:

1. Log in to your Sweet Korea Account.

2. Navigate to the “Subscriptions” section.

3. Your next billing date will be displayed to the right of your subscription under “Next Order Date”.

Please note that if you’re using a mobile device, you may need to switch to landscape view to view the date.

As our curated artisanal gourmet snacks have short shelf lives and are perishable, all purchases made through sweetkoreabox.co.kr are final and non-refundable. We do not accept returns.

To avoid being charged for future boxes, it’s essential to deactivate your subscription before the renewal date. Subscription renewals are non-refundable.

If your order is delayed and hasn’t arrived within 4 weeks from the shipping date, please reach out to us at support@sweetkoreabox.co.kr via our Contact Us page.

To be eligible for reimbursement, missing or lost orders must be reported within 10 weeks from the shipping confirmation date.

At this time all orders are processed in USD.

Each country has its own laws and regulations regarding the processing of shipments from other countries. If customs charges or taxes are incurred, you are solely responsible for these fees. SweetKorea is not liable for any customs charges or taxes imposed by your country upon delivery. Customs taxes are imposed by your local government, and SweetKorea has no control over whether you are subject to import taxes.
